Snowy Sunday............

We woke to yet more snow today, we have to admit we are getting quite use to it now.  To top it off we had a full night sleep which felt amazing.
Ben seems to be managing his pain a lot better and has now turned to discomfort not pain and this has made a huge difference in him.  The morning was just a quite one managed to get some good physio done – Ben balanced for 15 seconds & did several sit to stands and lots of good stretched I am so pleased he is more willing to do his exercises as it one less pressure not have to persuade him all the time & even bribe him...
We Skyped the’ Whittons’ for a quick chat and welcomed them to St Louis – we arranged to hopefully meet up that evening for tea – and hopefully with the ‘Wardleworth’ as well..

We had decided to go back to the Science Centre to see Sea Rex the 3D movie as there was not much else to do on a snowy day, so we all got organised and set off in the freshly laid snow.

We arrived little early so had chance to have a look at a few things before the movie, I say move but I think documentary would be a better description.  The boys were very excited and could not wait, I was very interesting and Jacob even managed to stay still for the whole hour – which was amazing in its self.  The boy’s tried out a few of the interactive/hands on activities on the way out Ben even built his own arch!!!

Snowy view from our room!!!

The snow had stopped so the roads were clear for our journey home, which to be air was only about 5 minutes in the car.
Back home we had about 2 hours to kill before heading out for tea, so what to do??  Well a few calls home & a bit more physio - & it was time to get ready to meet the Wardleworth & Whittons for tea, both boys were very very excited as we were it’s so lovely to be sharing this journey with wonderful people we have become very fond of.
As we arrived so did Lynda, Andy & Evan fresh from there transatlantic flight yesterday, not far behind came Lou, Ben, Amelia, Belle, Chris & Jim making up 13 for tea!!!  Luckily it was a quiet night and they had lots of space and they sat us out of the way of others.  It was so lovely to all be together, the adults chatting away & the children playing on any electrical item they can get their hands on. I my day we never had anything as exciting as iphones, DS or PSP they really don’t know how lucky they are...
It’s so lovely to see Ben & Belle together they really have formed a wonderful friendship over the past 3 weeks, Ben really looks after her – or should I say Belle looks after Ben.

Before we knew it – it was time to go, time really flies when you are having fun.  Luckily for us it was just a short walk across the road to get home – so we said our goodbyes and wished Evan all the best as it was his turn to meet the Great Dr Park tomorrow & start his SDR journey.
