Just Another Day.....

Well not a lot to report today, PT was at 11am with Mad Michael although we thought it was actually Erica...
We had to return the bike we borrowed over the weekend so Ben decided to ride it into the session to show Michael how well he could do it.
We had decided that we would take Jacob off during Ben sessions so Ben could really focus and Jacob would not get to bored.  I took him off first we went to the gift shop to purchase some treats for after PT.  We are starting to know the whole stock of that shop.
On my return Ben was on the treadmill doing his thing – Damian then took Jacob off, so I just sat and watched Ben – believe it or not he managed an amazing 10 minutes!!! Granted 6 minutes were great and 4 minutes were not so good, but still he walked solidly for 10 minutes.  Then it was off to beat his scores on the Bionix from Friday – and he did wonderfully managing to smash his last set of scores.  We are so proud of the effort Ben is putting in to these sessions he is so focused on the tasks he is asked to do, one proud Mummy& Daddy.

The proof - 10 minutes on the treadmill!!

Abigail came to see us during PT, she is the lovely lady who deals with all things media & was around when Tina& Charlie were filming – to make sure they only filmed us.  She is going to help me upload the films I need to send to Calendar & asked if we minded if they filmed Ben again during his second surgery – we of course agreed.
After PT we didn’t know what to do, so we grabbed lunch & went back to the apartment – we contacted the Wardleworth’s and arranged a play date for the children which was just what we all needed – So off we went the Residence Inn, this is the hotel that most UK families stay when they come to St Louis.  We however chose to stay in Metrolofts directly opposite the Hospital as they seem to have more living space.
Breaking News....... Jacob has lost his first tooth!!!!! and the other is wobbly as well!!

It was so lovely to see all the children play together & great for us adult to be able to chat about things.  It is so nice to be sharing this journey with them and for the boys to have other children to share it with as well as they miss their UK friends so much.
After a couple of hours we decided to go out for Tea, so a quick drive to The Cheesecake Factory, the boys did just think they sold cheesecake.  On the whole the boys were really well behaved and enjoyed there meal, as Ben was looking rather tired we go pudding to go!! Very American don’t you think!  Jacob fell asleep in the car and Ben would have done but he was uncomfortable in his chair.
Back home it was an early night for us all, to say we are not doing an awful we are all shattered and find it hard to stay up..
That’s all for tonight – hopefully we will find out what time Ben’s surgery is on Thursday tomorrow, watch this space.
