Our new home...

Well after not a brilliant night’s sleep the boys woke at 3:45am!!!! I did try to get them back to see but to be far they had had 8 hours!
We started to investigate our new home the boys found a new place to hide!
I did however have time to read through all the information that you get when you arrive and found out Ben’s second surgery is booked for 20th January – can’t think about that yet!
After a bit of sorting and showers and getting dressed it was soon 7am so off downstairs to the bakery – I think this will be a problem for us having it so close.  The boys have settled into America life so easily having chocolate chip bagels for breakfast and chocolate milk!.

Then it was off for a walk to see if we could find the hospital – after only 5 minutes we came across the iconic Children’s Hospital Sign.  Ben asked if we could go in for look & as it was FREEZING outside we were all only too happy to.

We only saw the entrance but it looked AMAZING!!!
Then it was back to the apartments as it was FREEZING and Jacob’s lips went blue!
Damian decided it was a good idea to then do our first grocery shop – so off to Schnuck’s we went, I have to say I was very impressed.  After a long shop which the boys had had enough by about the first 5 minutes – Jet-lag kicked in! All packed up in the car and home.
Damian is getting use to all the wonderful America driving techniques, in our Dodge Caravan!
We just love the apartment it is so perfect for us, enough space to not be on each other but cosy as well.  The boys have done a video tour which I will try and post as its soooo funny, Ben is getting so use to having a camera around its quite scary.
We decided that we would treat ourselves for tea (suggested by Auntie Em) and order Domino’s pizza.  I have to say it was quite exciting, well for the boys as you can track your order till it arrives at your door.
After tea it was not long till bed as we were all shattered, even though we did sneak in a cheeky power nap in the afternoon.
We were all excited about meeting Dr Park the next day Ben & I had got all our question organised for the meeting in the afternoon – Ben is getting a little more worried as the ‘Big Day’ approaches so we are trying to just take it one step at a time.
